Our History
The Le Cime Basse farm is located in the hills of Matelica, in the Marche region. Wine is a passion that has accompanied Giovanni since he was a boy, when he tried his hand at producing homemade sparkling wine with grapes from his family’s historic vineyards together with his friends.
A dream that came true in 2019, with the founding of the Le Cime Basse farm where, with the help of his wife Annalisa, he grows vineyards, olive groves, and various orchards to ensure the area’s rich biodiversity.

Matelica
In the heart of the upper Esino valley lies the small town of Matelica, rich in traditions and a passion for wine that has accompanied it for centuries. Here, the Verdicchio grapes grow, which, thanks to the meticulous work of local winemakers, provide each year the product that the people of Matelica are most proud of: Verdicchio di Matelica.
